Sivakarthikeyan was born in Singampuneri (near Sivagangai). His father is a Police officer, He has a sister, who is a doctor in Tiruchirapalli. 

Tiruchirappalli and then undertook his Bachelor of Computer Science and Engineering at JJ College of Engineering and he also completed MBA in Chennai.

He completed his schooling in Campion Anglo-Indian Higher Secondary School
